Opole has a very good train connection with Wroclaw, Katowice and Kraków. There are daily train arrivals from most cities in western and southern Poland. Direct train from Warsaw arrives 3 times per day. There is also a direct connection with CzÄstochowa.
Also note that once a day there's a EuroCity "Wawel" train from Hamburg to Kraków, which stops at Opole Central Opole GÅówne station as well.
